Its official for the past 4 weeks at least. Playstation 3 has been exploited to play backups. You will need firmware 3.41. If you have 3.42 or 3.5 your sol. There are about 7 companies cranking out these interesting usb exploits. Youtube it to see how easy this is to run.
Ps3 break v1.1 cost about $30
